Benefits of Membership

Working with nurse educators and practice leaders from across the country, CGEAN serves as a networking medium for advancing educational policy, developing national platforms, and distributing information about administrative and leadership education.  As a member of CGEAN you are helping to shape the future of leadership education across the curriculum and you are helping to develop recommendations for administrative and leadership research.

        • Through the CGEAN website you can search for and network with other educators, practice leaders, and researchers in leadership and health systems to solve challenges and form creative partnerships around the country.
        • Additionally, as a member you will have access to webinars, white papers, and other programs offered by CGEAN.
        • Every other year, CGEAN members can attend the International Nursing Administration Research Conference where prominent researchers and PhD/DNP students share in the scholarship of leadership and health system research.
        • Finally, a benefit of full individual CGEAN membership is an annual subscription to The Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA). Once your membership to CGEAN has been processed, you will begin to receive JONA at no additional cost to you.

“Being a member of CGEAN is a great privilege! It has provided me the professional opportunity to work with diverse educational and administrative leaders from around the country and the globe. It has been an opportunity to be part of something great!” Lyn Stankiewicz Murphy, PhD, MBA, MS, RN, Director, Health Services, Leadership and Management for University
of Maryland School of Nursing.
